GRUPPO PESCE ROMA & RACCONTI DI VITA
Tuesday 27 June at 23:40, RAI TRE showed “Pesci fuor d’ acqua”, documentary belonging to the TV series “Racconti di vita sera” and dedicated to the story of the GPR, first sports association of Rome, its activities and its members. The documentary, filmed by Raffaella Pusceddu, also showed the interview of Nichi Vendola, president of the Puglia region, by the conductor of the programme Giovanni Anversa.
Due to the big success of the programme, it will be shown again on SATURDAY 22 JULY at 12.15.

ROMA PRIDE 2006

The Gruppo Pesce Roma, first sports association of Rome, participates in the Committee of the Roma Pride 2006. Saturday 24 June, the Gruppo Pesce Roma, will participate in the big Rome parade. The parade will leave from Piazza della Repubblica (at 17:00) and will head for Via Cavour, Largo Corrado Ricci, Via dei Fori Imperiali, the Coliseum (Arco di Costantino) and will finish at San Giovanni in Laterano. The Gruppo Pesce Roma, along with some friends, relatives, colleagues and supporters will meet up at 16:00 in front of the Basilica di Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri. TORINO PRIDE 2006
...::: MORE VISIBILITY … MORE GROWTH … MORE LOVE :::...
The Gruppo Pesce Roma has officially given his support to the TORINO PRIDE 2006. Saturday 17 June, along with the other Gruppi Pesce of Italy, the GPR will participate in the big Torino parade, sporting its "historical, colourful and transparent" banner while escorting the cart of the GLBT sportive associations (volleyball, football, tennis, ski, athletics and cycling). The parade will leave from Stazione di Porta Susa at 17:00.

The outdoor meetings of the Gruppo Pesce Roma are back. On Saturday, May 20, the Gruppo Pesce Roma will organize a guided visit to the Antonello da Messina's exhibition, at the Scuderie del Quirinale. This exhibition is a unique event, bringing together –for the first time in history– virtually all of Antonello’s paintings that have come down to us.
The meeting is scheduled at 17:15, in front of the Scuderie's main door. If you would like to attend this interesting exhibition, please send a message as soon as you can to Antonio (tonga21@katamail.com) in order for him to organize a group (max. 35 people). The price of the exhibition is €10.00 plus the cost of the guided visit (€80.00), that will be divided among all the participants.
 Torino Pride Games 2006 - Inter pesce
On Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 March, the Gruppo Pesce Roma participated to the first edition of the GL TorinoPrideGames2006 competition, included in the TorinoPride2006 events (programme of activities).
The competition was held in the Torrazza swimming pool, in via Torrazza Piemonte 14, on Saturday 25, from 13:00 to 19:00. Afterwards, it wasl organized a dinner for all the participants, including also the Volleyball ones, and later on the evening finished off with everyone getting together at the club Fabrik.

Calendar 2006
The new Gruppo Pesce Roma Calendar is already out. The first sportive GLBT team in Rome has just published the fifth edition of its popular calendar.

New board of directors
In the last GPR assembly elections, held on October 15th 2005, it has been elected the new board of directors for the next biennium. We wish them all the best for the future work representing the GPR.
International tournament
 Recently, the Gruppo Pesce Roma has participated to the Torneo Panteres Grogues 2005, in Barcelona, and to the Valen-10-Years Tournament, in Amsterdam. Besides the hard competition and the high level of the participants, the GPR has brought home a number of medals.
